Clutch sanity check.

I have a 83 RX7, but this should be true for any rear wheel stick. Blew up the trans, clutch was pretty worn too. Replaced trans, and clutch. While rear is in the air the rear wheels spin while getting it into gear from neutral with clutch fully depressed (verified extension of master/slave). I don't remember this happening before but it does get into gear without much issue.
Normal or not?
Putting up my 81 to see if it does the same thing tonight.
