Google is censoring any reference to "gun", "rifle", "pistol" from their shopping search. Even if it has nothing to do with firearms, like the color "burgundy".

I won't link to the user who brought this up because I'm not sure they or the sub wants but to quote:

So apparently Google is now, in a laughably hamfisted way, censoring all "gun"-related searches on Google Shopping.

Type in any word related to guns ("gun", "rifle", "pistol")? No results.

But what's even funnier is that they apply it to ANY search that contains that sequence of letters. Want to look for the book "Guns, Germs, and Steel?" Too bad! Want to buy a "glue gun" or something from the Anime "Trigun"? Favorite color is "burgundy"? Nope!
