Assalamualaikum I am a recent revert and with the holidays coming up it has left me a bit conflicted. I use to be pagan so the roots of the holidays origins are not lost on me. And even growing up Baptist the celebration of it being Jesus birth also didn’t compute with me. But I love the memories it has given me and being able to finally start my own traditions this year has made me over the moon. I was wondering if having a real tree(I love the smell and memories, decorating with loved ones) and creating those moments out side of the religious connotations is allowed.
Ps: this also goes for Halloween bc I am a spooky sister and have even more guilt around it
