Hello /r/p, how are you this fine afternoon/evening? I've got a jobs question for you. Simple, but will require thinking.
Let's make an assumption. It's going to be a very proud assumption, and obviously a very false one, but let's go with it anyway.
Let's assume you're a badass programmer. You're awesome. Not just awesome, but in the top 1% on topcoder, been to competitions, won, been on previous projects that have been successful and have lots of hobby projects that you can show off to employers. You're also socially suave, and very skilled at interviewing.
Question is: how do you go about finding your dream job? Let's face it, we all know job sites like monster.com won't get you what you're looking for. Let's try to not involve the specific industry in the discussion.
Thoughts? Ideas?
