I think it depends on the value of the task you're extracting for, at the end of the day.
I also agree with u/maxinstuff's suggestion that they will continue to lower prices -- they seem to be focusing a lot on efficiency rather than pure performance, and thankfully they've passed the savings onto the consumer (us) over the past few model iterations.
