Okay so first off, music is really big for me and my dad. He first got me into Pink Floyd and we connected over that for years, still do. Over the years I've introduced him to a small handful of bands, but they usually are more mainstream type metal. I want to share with him something truly technical because I think he would really enjoy it.

The only problem is mostly all the technical bands I know have some harsh vocals. Him and my sister calls my music "screamo" much to my disdain.

So here's the thing, I need some recommendations for some technical bands that have clean vocals that I can share with him. Nothing too avant-garde either as I think that might be a little too much for him.
