Post Body
- I have a work day where I get work done
- and then the rest of my stuff (we'll call it 'hobby' for ease of conversation). My hobby is a 14 year podcast with all the things that go with it, writing books, doing presentations, pitching to events and stuff. NOT a job, this makes about $1k a month on great months.
- And then personal - relationships and life maintenance stuff.
The challenge that has just come up is - my work stuff used to be about 50% of my work day so I'd use the rest of it to catch up on hobby and personal.
But now, my work is 10 hours of intense focus. There is no time to do hobby or personal stuff during the day. And when I get off work...I'm done. I could care less about getting anything else done, especially looking at a PC to see my to do list.
Question: how do I summon the energy to stay productive when the burn during work is so intense?
