hey friends, i’m by no means highly functioning, nor am i a productivity addict or prodapps whiz. but what i have found in my uni career, professional career and personal hobbies is that i can get a job done well and quick if it’s a problem to solve for others.

when it’s my own project, or book, or design or video or whatever, i take FOREVER. I have the clearest idea of the grand scheme, and have fleshed out purpose and vision, but I drown in the smaller tasks and always get bogged down.

On the inverse, I never care about the grand scheme of a project at work nor anything else, but I’m amazing at ticking off all the smaller goals which pave the way for the team to progress.

I have found that I am very effective when externally motivated (doing projects for family or work) but not on my own hobbies.

What’s wrong and how can I fix it?
