Saving E-mails for later

How do you save important E-mails for later?
This might sound silly but I have 500k emails. I might add it to my to-do list app to look at a few weeks later but sometimes it's not easy to dig out again just because there are so many.
What system do you use? Would be great if there was some way to save the actual email to an app or something along those lines along with all the links like you do when you bookmark a normal webpage.
