Can a BA step up into a PO role?
Post Body
I'm not very happy with my current role as a BA. Mostly I dislike the company culture. In my current job I'm on an Agile product team, but rarely do requirements. Instead I design software solutions, write them up, present them to external stakeholders and try to get them to agree to them. I think a lot of those individual skills translate to a PO role, but I'm having trouble convincing interviewers of that.
What are your thoughts of a BA stepping up or transitioning into a PO role?
