So since privacytools recommends bahnhof in their provider list I wanted to have your input on this matter.
The story: I wanted to get a vps from bahnhof. I was on public WiFi connection, so as usual I was surfing with my vpn activated. I created my order. Then it asked me to add some funds with my credit card, I couldn’t even enter the information of my credit card. Apparently it was recognized as a fraud. So I try to manually add some funds, same results. I contacted the support about that and they told me that I was flagged as a fraud because the up location, details on the account or payment information wasn’t correlating. Then I’ve tried the same action with my personal ip and same result. I’ve informed the customer support about that and that I have even a gif to show them if they increase the file size limit of the ticket to 3MB. And nothing, they asked me to look businesses elsewhere.
In my country and normally everywhere in Europe, it’s a crime to refuse customers based on several principles. Discrimination etc.... so what do you think of this behavior for this company? And should they shame people to use a vpn like that? I entered my real info, I’ve tried to do whatever was in my power to comply but they refused it...
