Hello, so in my pursuit to figure out what's going on with my Prius I've found some useful apps and thought I'd pass them on.
One get an OBD2 Bluetooth device that's in your price range. I'd say go for a high rated one from Amazon.
Get these two hybrid apps Dr.prius Hybrid assistant
Dr can run a test(plus other nice functions) on the hybrid battery to tell you the health and life of the pack
HA is a great app full of information and nice color coding to give you quick idea of how everything is going with your hybrid. From temps of the motors, battery pack and you can click of the multiple areas to get more details to really dive in to the numbers
And seeing as you'll have an OBD2 reader give torque app a try to see any codes and graphical data that your hybrid is showing.
Torque has a paid and free version ($5 usd) the free one works fine and honestly it's what I've been using.
