Hey so this is my first Prius, a 2017, Prius touring 3. I have owned a lot of vehicles prior, anything I drive hard, towed with or was concerned about having trans mission issues. I always put a nice large trans cooler. My ex had a fusion and her trans went out at 152k ford recommended not changing trans fluid till 150k. Cant change the trans filter in a fusion with out splitting the trans case.
So can I do a filter in this trans like a normal ford truck? Just drop the pan and swap filter? So on this Prius, has anyone added a trans cooler? Does it need it? What's the recommended fluid for this 2017? My car just cracked 60k today. What all should I do as maintenance and preventative maintenance. What do I need to do to service the battery? I know there should be some sort of maintenance done to it.
Should I change the spark plugs?
Also, I got a pretty decent deal, I do own money on it but I did get a decent rate and I am totally happy with it.
Also do these Prius get better mpg with low resistance tires??
Thank you all!!
Also who makes the best all weather floor mats fitted to the space. I have the factory rubber trunk Mat. Need something similar for inside the car.
Is there a reverse light upgrade for brighter reverse lights. I have tin and it's hard for me to see even with the back up camera.
