I have a gen II that we use as the base for a parade float. It worked great last year with one exception, the low end of speed is really jumpy. The parade is stop and go, 5mph or so. Is there a way to put the Prius into limp mode to dumb down the responsiveness of the speed and limit overall top speed? Or perhaps a script into the CAN to keep it from shifting out of first gear? The car is completely cut apart, and is solely used for this purpose. I understand the basics of what the canBUS does (communication) but thats where my experience end. Always game to study and learn new through experience.
