Key Fob Problem

Got back from vacation and my 06 is no longer responding to my fob. Auto unlock, button unlock, start don't work. The only way to enter/start is with manual key/dashboard insert. I changed the fob battery and the red light blinks but the car still doesn't respond. Bad fob or did the pairing get screwy?
