Buy used 2006 Prius?

Do you think a 2006 with 42,104 miles for $12,900 from a (Honda) dealer is a good move? 1 owner carfax, 1 accident reported, maintenance done at a Toyota dealer.
I'm concerned about the battery and it is being sold "as is" with no warranty or guarantee.
I hate the look of the 4th gen, have heard bad things about the 3rd gen, and would like to spend under 20k.
