This is my friend, Chris, who is currently incarcerated in Michigan. The poor guy is going out of his mind with boredom, has zero approved visitors, and is desperate to find some pen pals to talk to.

His mom reached out to me a month or so ago, and asked if she could give him my contact info, because all he had to talk to is her. And, while he's stoked to have me now? I can tell he really needs more social interaction.

Please help me make sure my kind, loving friend doesn't get beaten up too badly by the prison system. The library in his facility hasn't been open since the beginning of covid, and I don't want him to lose his brain, ya feel me?

Everybody does something stupid. Chris? Just managed to be really stupid about his stupid thing. The long and short of it? Is that something that should've stayed between family ended up in the court system, and I still don't think that's reason enough for my friend to feel this isolated and alone.
