Hey folks, I'm in a bit of a situation and could really use some guidance. After about 3 years in Sullivan County Jail in Tennessee awaiting trial and sentencing, my SO just messaged me about an hour ago saying she was on her way to Prison in Nashville. I've read so many conflicting things about whether they have video visits or messaging capabilities there, and the only thing I'm sure of is that they can make phone calls through GTL. I'm hearing mixed responses on all the other means of communication besides phone calls.

Has anyone here had any experience with the Tennessee Prison for Women (TPW)? I just happened to have a video visit with her tonight before they came and got her, which was a real blessing. It's been a weird day for me - I work overnights, was off on Sunday, but worked Saturday, and was exhausted when I got home. I sent her a message telling her about my night as I always do, and mentioned that I was having a hard time keeping my eyes open for our video visit, which was in another hour. But I told her I'd definitely stay awake because I wanted to see her beautiful face as often as I can before she heads to Nashville. And wouldn't you know it, she left that night.

If anyone has any info on communication options at TPW, I'd really appreciate it. I know she's only there for a little over 6 months, as she served most of her sentence in County. After Tennessee State, she's headed back to Federal prison to finish that sentence. I'm still looking at about 5 more years myself. But I'm ride or die with her, and I'm going to try my hardest to get to Tennessee for a conjugal or two before she heads to Federal!
