Rhubarb flavor extraction

I’ve come across a huge amount of rhubarb which I’ve frozen. What is the best method of extracting the flavor into my brew? Should I just thaw it and chuck it into primary? Is secondary better? Should I boil it? Should I use pectic enzyme? I don’t know much about rhubarb.
