I was unaware that Windows 11 had any changes in printer drivers or printer support. I've been happily using my Canon MF8050cn with Windows 10. Got a new laptop with Windows 11. Installed drivers for Windows 10-64 bit.
Scanning seems to work fine.
Printing, not so much. Printing worked from Microsoft Word. But not printing a test page. And printing from Adobe Reader, from Outlook, and from Edge browser all crashed the apps.
Any ideas how to get the printing to work from Windows 11? The printer is still fine and I have another four brand new cartridges, so that's a lot of kit. It's a network-attached printer for what that's worth.
