Hey there! I’m looking for one or two yearly collections of short stories (can also include fantasy as well) to start collecting. I’ve been doing some looking and have come across several, but I don’t know if there are ones to avoid, or ones that are absolute must haves. For reference one of my favorite collections ever is The Big Book of Science Fiction by Jeff and Ann Vandermeer, and most all of the old-school “best of” collections.
These are the ones I’m considering:
-The Best Science Fiction of the Year (Vol. 5), edited by Neil Clarke.
-The Year’s Best Science Fiction Vol. 1 (Saga Anthology), edited by Jonathan Strahan.
-Best American Science Fiction and Fantasy 2020.
