UPDATES BELOW.
********************************************************************************
My immunologist recently ordered some general immunology blood work as well as some baseline blood work for my vaccine challenge. I just got an email alert that my blood test results were ready. So I hopped online and checked them immediately. Below are the significant findings:
DATE: OCTOBER 30, 2019 (The lab was a little late getting these up!)
- IMMUNOGLOBULIN G SUBCLASS 1: 292 L (Desired Result: 382-929 mg/dL)
DATE: APRIL 30, 2020
- ABSOLUTE CD4 CELLS: 481 L (Desired Result: 490-1740 cells/uL)
- ABSOLUTE NK CELLS (CD16 CD56 CELLS): 54 L (Desired Result: 70-760 cells/uL)
- PLATELET COUNT: 124 L (Desired Result: 140-400 Thousand/uL)
What does all of this mean? Or what could it mean? I know you all can't give me medical advice, but a little input would be amazing.
Thanks!
Edit: I have 2 autoimmune diseases, but I do not have HIV or AIDS.
EDIT #2/UPDATE:
I just got off the phone with my doctor. She said that my overall percentages are fine, so there's nothing to treat right now. I don't even need to get repeat blood work for my vaccine challenge, she said. I'm just going to do the blood work again in three months, just on its own.
I am INCENSED. I'm frustrated, disappointed, and exasperated. I worked SO hard to make this vaccine challenge happen, and for what? Not a damn thing! I am undiagnosed again, and I HATE it. At this point, i feel stupid for even thinking I have an immune deficiency in the first place. Am I just crazy or dumb or something? I AM SO OVER THIS!!
