Couldn't find duplicates of this anywhere, and my facility's customer service, my doctor, and Facebook groups aren't helping. I'm extra-frazzled trying to plan all this, and I'm having to go to two different places to get it done, so my brain fog is even worse. Hence my confusion.
So my doctor ordered a vaccine challenge. We talked about it, and I thought I understood.
I originally thought you just get blood work done once, get a vaccine, wait 4 weeks, then get a repeat vaccine. Then I was confused, because how was that going to measure my body's immune response to both vaccines?
Cue more sleepless nights and frantic, futile research.
I think I got it, though. One day, you go get blood work and the first vaccine. THEN you wait 4 weeks, then repeat the blood work and the vaccine.
So I thought it was: (blood work vaccine) >> (4 weeks) >> (vaccine).
But it's actually: (blood work vaccine) >> (4 weeks) >> (blood work vaccine).
Make sense? Do I have this correct now? Finally?
