Hey, so this is going to sound really weird, so bear with me. And sorry for posting in here so much. Sometimes I just get desperate for information. Also, slight TMI warning.

So I've had chronic yeast infections of the skin since 2008. I have replaced by razors and my body poufs multiple times, washed everything in hot water multiple times, got brand new bath towels, washed with various antifungal washes (including Hibiclens and Head & Shoulders), tried prescription creams, everything you can think of. The infection always just comes back within a day.

A friend of mine with CVID suggested I use a clean wash cloth every day instead of a pouf, as poufs can harbor mold and mildew. So I got brand new wash cloths from Amazon, washed them in hot water, and started using a new one every day.

The problem is that they're not lathering AT ALL, so I can't get the product to spread to wear it needs to go, and I'm not getting as clean. I've tried scrunching the cloth into a ball, keeping it flat, rubbing it together vigorously, and still nothing. I don't feel as clean after my daily showers, and I have to use 10 times more product just to get anywhere.

I have tried three different body washes, and I have avoided the use of dryer sheets to see if that would help. It did not. When I rub the wash cloth across my skin, there is hardly any product on my skin, and I don't get it. I actually had B.O. yesterday despite washing my pits daily. I use deodorant, obviously, but I am clearly not getting as clean.

So wash cloths are clearly out. i figured maybe there's a washable body pouf out there that lathers just as well. And apparently Etsy sells them. Has anyone used anything like that before? Thanks.
