So maybe its more a dream at this point then reality, but one day I'd love to build an underground bunker capable of housing 50 or so people. Ive been running numbers on air filtration, waste disposal, water filtration, hydroponics, solar arrays, wind farms, microhydroelectric, battery storage, etc

I've even gone as far as to look into methanol conversations for vehicles, generators, methane production in place of natural gas and so on. 55,000 empty sqft bunker. Throw any and all ideas out. Id love for it to be self sustainable for atleast 10 years, survive a nuclear blast, and gave the ability to surface rebuild in the years after. If we can eventually get grow meat from cells, I'm set!
