I am currently using a production premiere file and have a large amount of footage organized on there and looking to find certain clips by using a search bin but I have to manually load in all the clips by opening all the individual folders to make them “searchable” by the search bin, which there’s a lot. You have to make the off-line files re-link to the source or else the search bin will not find the clip. And yes the offline clips are already linked to the source there is just a small 2 second delay from offline to online once I do open up a folder. Therefore I have to open all the folders to promote them to go online for my search bins to work properly. Sorry this is messy hopefully someone can understand. This is very time consuming and seems like they should just load over time but they don’t.
