Duplicated my audio input in a screen capture. Best way to remove/clean up the echo?

Hey Reddit-

I'm working with a tech team, producing in-house content for them in Premiere. I started using OBS to record video conferences, but made the mistake of having the application sound and Mac OS sound recorded. I had tested it initially and it sounded fine. However when I listened to the whole recording, there's clearly two overlaid tracks, creating a reverb/echo. (Side note: I used to do the OS screen record and Loopback, but for some reason the OS hangs like crazy after recording)

My first attempt to clean it up was to run it through the Adobe Podcast site, which helped, but it's still a little distorted. Ran it through a second time... better but I think I'm pushing the limit.

I've heard some good things about Clarity VX for cleaning up voices, but haven't used it yet.

Would love some suggestions.

TLDR: My audio recorded twice and got mixed down in to quicktime file. The result is distorted, and looking to clean it up. Thanks
