Hey guy’s I’m looking for the most optimal solution on how to store all my files for video editing. Media cache, video footage ect ect.
My current setup is
256 GB SATA SSD - Local disk C where all my programs are stored
2TB NVME 3.0 - Where all my talking head and B-roll are stored Media cache
3TB HDD - general storage backups miscellaneous
120GB SATA SSD - Not sure what to use it for
Now to optimise video editing performance how should I go about setting up my storage. Should I move my talking head to the 120Gb Sata? But I’ll have to leave the b roll since that takes up a lot more space and the talking head doesn’t then primarily use the 2Tb nvme for B roll and media cache files? Or is there a better way to go about this.
If it matters my specs are 1060 3Gb i5-8400 64gb ram ddr4 B360Mk mobo
