Hi all, I am a 26 year old LPN in Montréal, QC. I have been considering becoming a doctor since I finished my LPN program a year ago. I never took school seriously until i joined my nursing program, which is a reason why I never given becoming doctor lots of thought. But as I keep working, the itch to learn just grows and I want to go further, being an LPN has been great but I am so limited on what I can do for a patient. I want to know:
1) How do I become a doctor in QC (or canada)? I have my mind set on becoming GP. 2) What is school like? Is it research based or lots of lectures or little bit of both? 3) Financially, how much damage should I expect from going back to school? How long is the academic part? 4) Am I aiming too high here?
Appreciate
