Hello everyone,
I have a situation. I recently got rejected from the only 2 research programs I applied to for the summer. I know that was a really bad decision to only apply to 2, but I was fairly confident I would get at least one, considering they are both relatively close to my hometown and relate to a sister school of my university. I am now in a spot that I do not have a research position for this summer. I have tried cold emailing a bunch of professors and that hasn't really seen me any success. I have no real prior research experience and as I am trying to apply to medical school soon, this is the last thing I would like to add to my resume. I know research may not be all that important but it is something I would like to add to my application. Any advice or does anyone know of any virtual/inperson research positions in the University of Maryland area that has not passed the deadline. I am looking and applying currently but I would appreciate the words of others.
