We are bringing forth new life. We are laying better foundations for generations to come. We are correcting the mistakes of those who came before us while refining our experiences to make them more resonant, personal, sacred. We do not have time to worry about people's feelings surrounding how we embody mothering, motherhood, wild mothering etc. We have star beings to raise up.

Think about that the next time you've got unconscious people in your ear, family members and in laws making it about them and vying attention, people giving their input on what you like and don't like, what the rules around YOUR BRAND NEW BABY might be.

I'm so tired of reading it, LET YOUR WILD WOMAN FREE and allow her to do what needs to be done. You are SUPPOSED to go into heavy protection mode as a new mother, you're SUPPOSED to want to have your baby close most of the time even if they aren't in your arms, you're SUPPOSED to want a period of adjustment (Lying In/The 40 days) to allow your body to not only heal but bond with your new family hell some people only get a few weeks and its back to work. So please be confident and set precedents when it comes your experience especially as a FTM. Find the resources and knowledge to equip you to stand your ground and protect the sacredness of your birth.

At some point it will ripple outwards and society will have to remember just how sacred this biological moment is from start to finish.

BIRTH IS SACRED. YOU ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT PERSON IN THESE MOMENTS. Don't let people with stale ideology and rhetoric mess up your moment, people who genuinely care about you will not spite you for holding a standard for your birth experience.
