If you want to be celebrated on Mother's day or don't want to be celebrated on Mother's day, this is your gentle reminder to tell your people - your partner, spouse, parents, siblings or loved ones.
Without fail, every year on this sub after Mother's day, people post about how they were bummed that they weren't celebrated on Mother's day or were celebrated and didn't want to be. However, oftentimes, their wishes were never conveyed to their people.
I'm not passing judgement either way, if you consider yourself a mother or a parent or if you don't, just tell your people if you'd like to be celebrated or not, they can't read your mind!!
Shoot and if you're having conflicted feelings about the subject, talk to them about it too! They may have some insight or a nugget of wisdom or they may be feeling exactly the same way.
Pregnancy is hard enough as is, speak up about what you want!
That is my PSA. Be well.
