I'm 30 5 today. Ive been having episodes of tachycardia that've ramped up in frequency over the past 2 months. There's nothing so far that we can tell correlates to/causes the tachycardia, and my heart rate literally goes up to 130 when I'm just laying down doing nothing.
It's normally accompanied by some wooziness. Today it was also accompanied with weakness in my chest/throat and tightness in my chest and upper-middle back. Lightheadedness. All over headache. Shortness of breath. Brain fog. Extreme nausea. Sweating/feeling extremely warm but not running a temperature. Aching/mild pain in my chest.
My heart rate bounced between 115 and 130 for 3 straight hours before settling down between 95 and 115. My blood pressure was 111/79, which they said was absolutely great. Oxygen was 99%. Baby's heart rate was normal, and they ordered an in depth ultrasound and said baby is doing awesome. They aren't worried about preeclampsia at this time.
They wanted to move me to the ER but I couldnt afford that bill; since baby looks okay, I just went home. I have an OB appointment tomorrow where we planned to talk about getting me a heart monitor to better record the tachycardia at home, so I feel okay about skipping the ER as long as I dont start feeling even worse. But ive been feeling like this for 7 hours now and it's awful.
Has anyone had similar symptoms? Did you get a cause figured out? Any ideas what could be wrong with me, so I can bring up ideas at my appointment tomorrow?
