I had planned on having a natural water birth. I am now 37 weeks and yesterday found out my baby is now breech. The dr tried flipping him and the stubborn little guy didn't budge one bit. I'm losing faith that he will flip on his own. This is so far from what my husband and I had planned. I hadn't given a c section any thought at all and I just truly don't know what to expect. Does anyone have any advice. I makes me really nervous I've never had major surgery before. All I care about is him safe in my arms healthy happy and whole. What should I be prepared for regarding after care? Right now I have all the recommended things for a vaginal birth. Peri bottles, ice pads, ladies diapers all that jazz but will I need any of that at all? Also what should I pack? My current bag has one pair of clothes my birthing gown a robe a massage gun tens unit speaker lol all the things I thought I'd need for a birth center birth but not a hospital surgery... I'm a planner and I feel like 9 months of my vision and plans have gone out the window and it's giving me a new type of anxiety.
