I am 35 weeks pregnant and planning to have a water birth at a birthing center. I feel like the closer I get I am getting a little more worried about my decision. So I have just a few questions from anyone with experience.
Am I expected to catch him? Or does the midwife do that? The idea of trying to catch him safely while I push is really intimidating me.
Did anyone use a tens machine and do you feel it have you any relief?
What are good laboring snacks to have on hand?
Any other advice you would have to make this experience as smooth as possible?
I think a part of my hesitation or worry with my decision is this past week I had a kidney Stine which I just passed today finally. But I was in 18 hours of absolute unimaginable pain with no reprieve. And as it was happening all I could think was how labor would be even worse. I can't imagine experiencing more pain than I was in on Tuesday I almost passed out a few times and was puking because it was so bad. Maybe I'm just getting in my head.
