Should I be on meds at 6.2?

Iām not being treated by anyone for my prediabetes, I just get the diet/exercise spiel every time I ask for an A1C. Iām just wondering if I should be more proactive and try to get on meds, and/or start seeing an endocrinologist. Any advice?
