If we accept that it is established that the Predator and Alien Universe is shared.

In Prometheus we learn, or at least it is heavily implied that the Engineers made Humans. We are in their image.
So some questions then arises.
Are the Predators an independent race?
Were they also engineered?
Does this, or should it change the relationship between Human and Predator?
(This question is not about established canon, and should be viewed hypothetically/or as just a fan perspective)
