So walmart had MMPR dvd box set and i had to grab it. I've missed these characters and prob stopped watching during the Turbo era so it's been a long time coming. Its just as campy and corny as i remember, but still so much fun. As of where im at now, Green Ranger has not been introduced yet, but im looking forward to when he comes on the scene to shake shit up... All in all I've enjoyed the hell out of these first 15 or so episodes I've watched and know I'll enjoy the rest...

BUT

My adult mind wants to know all the secrets, the drama, the not so well known stuff that went on behind the scenes. Beyond pay disputes, yost being gay, the actress who played Trini dying at 27... What other drama n bullshit went on?? Like for example: was ASJ okay with JDF just showing up and instantly running his #1 lead male spot??

Watching how any scene not shot in or around Angel Grove High/gym n juicebar or the command center looks a lil crazy. Like Ritas mouth moves somewhat correctly to the words she is saying maybe 45% of the time, and Goldar n dem, ha, their mouths go up and down only, it's hilarious. And how grainy and...well old, all the suited-up/zord/rita scenes look. It is a spliced, cheap ass, sonetimes dumpsterfire looking edit of a show...still i absolutely love it!! That's all.
