I'll give them this: Izzy and Ferns relationship is better that most gay characters/relationships in other franchises simply because the extent of their character isn't just "I'm gay"
People confuse me as that. I don't have a problem with the LGBTQ . But I do have a problem if you try to force it upon me or my family.

You know that the word terf has to do with gender identity and trans people, right? And this discussion has nothing to do with trans people or gender identity.

Does it matter how long she's in it? Alright, if you insist. There's Tyree Henrey's character in the Eternals.
No one specific, but to name one, there's that girl from lightyear, forgot her name tho.
I'm not drawing a comparison specifically between them, I'm saying that the DF relationship is better than some others because they have character traits other than being gay. And the fact that it's a "blink and you'll miss it" sort of scene tells you that they did not even think about the significance of representation in this day and age.
And we'll probably never know if it's her sole personality or not since Lightyear did pretty poor at the box office, so I don't see a sequel happening anytime soon.
Character traits and personality traits are different. For example, personality traits include being compulsive or level-headed. Character traits are things like having a unique fashion sense or personal interests, like playing football. In her case, it's pretty unclear what her major character traits or personality traits are. The only thing that sets her apart from the rest of the cast is her being gay. Hence why I'm saying the extent of her character is her LGB status.
