My husband went shopping this morning and one of the items on the list was eggs. He gave me the receipt when he got home and I saw the eggs were $6.61 for 18 eggs!!! WTF?!
I was so upset I started crying. In what world is this supposed to be normal? I just can't. We struggle with expenses and our grocery expenses monthly for the 2 of us has gotten to $700. It was less than $500 before 2022. Yes, we eat a lot and my husband has serious health restrictions about what he can and can't eat as well as needing to drink a significant amount of electrolyte solution daily to keep his levels steady and prevent his death.
Dang guys, $6.61 for 18 eggs! I just can't.
