I'm young. Earning xxk after tax a year in UK. I currently am saving for a house I have xx K in savings.
Am I wrong for not giving my family any money at all? And how much do u reckon I could give a month and feel happy about it .I live at home and keep aside at least 750 a month for my future house .. This is the money I have left over month end hence why I save it. As the rest is used for essentials.
I want to help but I feel devastated at not saving for my house.
I love my family dearly and they live in a crap country it's become where the country is developing cost are rising and from eating 3 meals a day. They buy the cheapest type of meat to eat. They are about 8 people in 1 house and 2 people work.
If I was to help them, how long for? How much money? Help!!
Covid was shit on them.. They have load shedding.. The amount of people they have to feed is a lot and you can't negotiate on the rent electricity and all that, it's a fixed rate so they need more money.. It's hard to hear them suffer.. I don't want to get into more detail.
They're not extend... They just live elsewhere
Edit THEY NEVER ASKED FOR MONEY... They helped me so fucking much.. They can't live in UK because of papers so they're in their country. In regards to minors and adults that's my concern. I'm regards to who's working and why that's my concern.. I just have a problem with numbers. This isn't a typical situation you see me foreigners sending their money back, they know I'm not rich but r haven't helped them a penny yet except 1 k a few years back.
