Sometimes the best way to solve your own problems is to help someone else -Uncle Iroh

Post Body

Being self sufficient is awesome. But if you have recently taken a hit in income, remember reliance on a group is not always a terrible thing. People can help you, and you can help people. This is probably the #1 advice you can get for being poor. Be ready to help, look for ways you can. Can you watch a friends kids for a couple hours so they can get a break? Does someone need help with school work? Do you know how to fix stuff and do you know people that need it? Can you cook?

Look for ways you can contribute. It’s part of being ‘group sufficient’. When you have a problem and no money having this group will solve problems.

It’s ok to help for free, and it’s ok to accept help from others.
