So a little over two weeks ago I filed a free simple return for 2019 using H&R. I’ve already received my state refund but my federal refund is still processing for some reason. Apparently there are people who filed in February who still have theirs processing. Everybody seems to be getting their stimulus payments right now and I’m not. I tried using the “get my payment” on the IRS website to check the status of my stimulus payment. I entered my information and received something along the lines of “stimulus payment unavailable”. What the hell is going on? Nobody claimed me as a dependent. I entered the correct bank info. Is it because my federal refund is still being processed??? Do I need to have received my federal refund first before receiving my stimulus check??? HELP.
