Hi y’all! I’m an American considering traveling down to Mexico to remove my wisdom teeth. I have been warned by family that some people have complications with teeth down in Mexico (mainly from veneers). But also the same can be said with America. The american propaganda is strong to think that a dental hospital in Mexico would be dodgy when the American health care system is dumpster fire. My biggest motivator is the major price difference. 400 or more dollars for one tooth vs 150 for one tooth. Plus I don’t have insurance so regardless I will be paying out of pocket… given o know that there will be flight and lodging to pay for but I guess it ends up being similar but I’m paying for the best care in Mexico vs paying for bare minimum in USA. What are your thoughts, experiences, and recommendations. Please help me I’m trying to leave asap!
I've been to multiple dentists in less fortunate parts of the world. They always do a great job.
