Should I follow up with an offer to increase my credit limit?

I don't use my (only) credit card much, and try to save it for emergencies. I got an email from the card company with a request to increase my credit limit. Is there anything to watch out for here? I wouldn't mind a higher limit but I want to make an educated decision.
