I’m close to being broke and whatever I have left in my savings and this fucking job at this security company is no fucking help. Not even giving me enough hours. Sooner or later all my saving will be gone. And I won’t have nothing left. I’ve been saving up for 5 fucking years to reach a point; now that I’m in a bind. I realized that I can’t apply for unemployment because last month in July I got fired. So that means this “no fault of your own” and having to find a job is bullshit. All the jobs I’ve worked bustin’ my ass just to read the “no fault of your own” eligibility is the reason why I’m close to the fucking edge.

This new job ain’t paying me much or even giving me the days to work. They’re shit! Jobs out here in South Carolina ain’t sustainable. I’m just glad my car is paid off but now the worry starts. I’m here waiting for a call back from a third party to see if I’m able to work for this warehouse on the assembly line. Bills that I got to pay are going to run me dry which means my savings will be completely gone. And if I do the job I’ll have to start over. From 2012 I’ve made at the age of 21/22 I’ve made $6,682 (following year $13,045) in that year when I first started working and now fast forward to 2023 I earned $30,295 at my final job since then. No progress. Not in this economy. I never worked a job that was over 50K or even gotten to 100k in my life.

Once I go under (and it’s a matter of when) I’ll probably finish what I started ☠️🪦. I can’t keep doing this. I have no kids. Been living with parents for 9 years and moving out ain’t going to fix this shit. There ain’t no future out here. I wasted my life doing what? Holding on to a string just so someone can come on here to say “you just want somebody to talk you out of blah blah” or “suck it up.”

I heard stories about what happens to people who say that shit that I just wrote in quotations. They end up homeless, no money, and end up doing something desperate. Don’t tell me I’m crazy for thinking it.
