Yeah this is a rant, it was an own goal at myself. But what is really frustrating is that I went for a job that would double my pay, upgrading me to a finance career. (I did not get the job for reasons relating to existing credit card debt.)

On my return from the interview I was caught on an overhead camera using my phone, it's a pretty clear picture and my car so I will have to pay it.

The kids will never know e that the road trip for this year is cancelled because of daddy's mistake, or that two weeks holiday (custody with Dad) will be cut back to a week because he has to go and do overtime driving a truck to close back missing income.

I am just getting tired of trying.

As a qualified tradesman it's hard to see the income I could be making but firstly, it comes at a cost to health and second, the builder can simply decide to not pay you at all. So it was not worth it. So I'm driving a truck.

If work picks up I'll make $1000 a week, and if I'm really lucky I'll be doing this till I'm 70 years old. I have seen it happen.
