So, my wife has a ridiculous amount of credit card debt. She’s paying so much towards this that we’re barely making it paycheck to paycheck. We’ve contacted some debt consolidation places to see about taking care of it all that way; but they want you to be delinquent before they’ll even try to help and that’s something we just can’t risk. Is my only at this point a bank loan? Obviously we need to sell some of our things, pinch pennys, and slowly pay everything off. The weight of the pressure is just getting to us both at the moment. No real options for either of us to make more aside from getting a second job. I work in the social service field and make roughly $33k and she works in retail making roughly $60k. We should not be struggling at all but she just has SO much credit card debt. Thanks ahead of time for any info or help.
