Bonavita immersion dripper recipe?

I purchased one of these used a few months ago but have not had the chance to use it yet. I'm going to test it out soon, but I'm trying to find a good recipe. I've read a few online but half of them state to use a fine grind, and the other half state to use a coarse grind. I'm also not exactly sure when to release the "stopper". I'm just looking to find a simple, consistent recipe. Thanks in advance.
