i'm in a new band, and i'm looking for similar UK groups to gig with... we're split between two cities at the mo, as one of us lives in sheffield, and the other lives in birmingham

we make instrumental post-rock , but there's also some 80s jangle-pop in the mix, along with some electronic beats and noisy textures. here's a link to our stuff: https://pelydron.bandcamp.com

influence-wice, we like tortoise, GY!BE, low, david pajo, broadcast, spiritualized, beach house, and boards of canada. we also listen to lots of noisy post-punk stuff; so, like, the fall, swell maps, flipper, PiL... stuff like that

i wonder if any of you folks can think of any bands i should know about?! am only looking for reasonably new bands though - ones that's be glad to play venues that hold <100 people!
